Individuals

Individuals may attend therapy to address symptoms of anxiety or depression, or to increase their quality of life. I have counseled many individuals for the following: self-injury, separation and divorce, processing loss and trauma, coping with a family member with mental illness or addiction, immigration and acculturation challenges, anxiety, including panic, anger management issues, work and life balance issues, attention deficit and attention hyperactivity disorder, life stage transitions, young adult development, emotion regulation issues, stress management, midlife issues, trauma/PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder), borderline personality disorder, abuse, women’s issues, spirituality, and desire to increase quality of life.

Couples

Couples may attend therapy to address relationship or marriage dissatisfaction, sexual intimacy issues, or to foster connection.

I have counseled couples on the following: separation and divorce, high couple conflict, sex therapy and sexual dysfunction, affairs and infidelity, remarriage, marital satisfaction and increase in emotional and physical intimacy, premarital issues, and life stage transitions.

Families

Many families attend family therapy to address a variety of issues that can show up as anxiety and depression, and most are interested in fostering connection. I have counseled families on the following: parenting challenges, high conflict in family, Family of Origin (parents of parents, in-laws, and extended family) struggles, family business succession and conflict resolution, desire for increased connection and understanding between family members, blended families, coping with a family member with mental illness or addiction, life cycle challenges of having children, school transitions, transitions into young adulthood, death and symptomatic issues with a child either acting out, withdrawing, or trouble attending school.

Ask me about current groups (8 week course in well-being) or of your interest in particular types of groups.

Supervision
